X-15 Class UCS Foil - Tail Wing

Designed as the flagship X-15 Class stabilizer for racing, the 200 cm² shape balances stability, speed and precise handling across varying conditions, supporting both high-speed flight and controlled maneuvers around the course.

A flat, low-drag profile maximises hydrodynamic efficiency for increased speed, glide and efficient pumping, helping maintain momentum with minimal resistance.

A small vertical fin provides additional traction and yaw stability, keeping the foil tracking predictably and securely through high-speed racing and maneuvers.

Integrating the tail wing and rear fuselage into a single monobloc structure eliminates unnecessary bolts and adjustment points, reducing drag while creating a cleaner, more direct and performance-focused connection.

The UCS platform enables independent adjustment of wing angles and longitudinal balance. Optional Angle Spacer Sets and Fuselage Collars allow you to fine-tune front and tail wing angles, shift wing positions, and optimise lift, stability and pitch response.

The Universal Connection System (UCS) delivers up to 3x the torsional stiffness of previous drop-through style connection systems. Double rows of side-by-side mast-fuse screws distribute loads both laterally and longitudinally, creating maximum stability, while the supported mast-fuse saddle preserves the fuselages full structural integrity by eliminating the material cut-outs required by traditional drop-through systems. A unique sleeve-saddle fuse-wing connection provides further stability and support for the stiffest overall connection between mast, fuselage and front/tail wings.
